ITEMS EFFECTING PAYOUTS It has come to my attention that quite a few of you are leaving BEFORE your stand leader has told you that you could leave. NO ONE is to leave the stand until your stand has checked up and there is no shortages. Several of the low checks (Seattle being one of them) have been low payouts due to booth shortages. If you leave before your stand leader tells you it is ok to leave YOU WILL NOT BE PAID for the event and you will not be put back on the schedule. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! It is extremely unfair for the remaining workers to stay there looking for the shortage while you leave. If you leave, not only will you not be paid for the event, you may be responsible for any money that is short which means I will not pay you for previous events you worked up to the total amount of money that is missing. Yesterday one of the booths was over $1,000.00 short. Please understand that if it gets turned it that way, that $1,000 comes right off our total amount which can equate to 40-50 bucks a person. One event was over $2,000 short. That is also the reason for the delays in payments. They are trying to find the shortages before taking it right off our payout amount. You can all thank Angie for taking the extra step to stay and help find the $1,000.00. After recounting several times almost all of it was found. You can each help keep the shortages at a minimum. If you make a mistake on the register TELL YOUR STAND LEADER. He/She can correct the miistake. If you see someone doing something wrong tell your stand leader. Most shortages can be found, but they have to be found BEFORE everyone leaves.
STAND LEADERS: Do NOT send anyone home until your stand checks up correctly. YOU are ultimately responsible for any money missing when you let your crew leave. No one wants to stay looking for money, but it is better to stay for 30 minutes locating the shortage than for the entire stand to be paid NOTHING because your stand was short.
Also, the stand must be cleaned BEFORE anyone leaves. We are charged $100.00 per stand if it is not cleaned properly. If your stand is charged $100 it will come off your stand's payout. Everyone works TOO HARD to have to suffer for a few slackers.
I am trying to work with the Cowboys to get some of these issues resolved because I know how hard all of you work. You guys are the BEST workers the Cowboys have. I have NO DOUBT about that and I am not just saying that. I truly believe it, but we have to be proactive and do our part to. I want to Thank each of you for working so hard at these events!!! |

UPDATE SCHEDULING AVAILABILITY I have received over 250 emails since I took over the scheduling (3 weeks). Many are to let me know about their schedule changes. In order to keep it straight, I need EVERYONE to go into the forms tab (on the left) and update your availability for the remainder of the year along with your contact info. I will print it off later this week and use it to schedule the remaining events for the year. With 250 emails I am sure I will miss someone's request so I think updating your availability will benefit everyone. If you have other people that want to work, have them sign up as well. Thank you. |

SCHEDULING UPDATE First I want to say I enjoyed meeting many of you this past week. Thank you for all the support. If your name is not on the list to work this Sunday 11/1/09 and you are available to work, please send me an email letting me know you would like to work. Do NOT just show up to the stadium unless you get an email from me or Angie Goonan. ALL workers need to show up on time. It is not fair to the workers that arrive on time for some to arrive over an hour later and receive the same pay. I realize it seems very early to get there, but we need to accommodate the Cowboys. Cindy has provided us a wonderful opporturnity with great locations, but we need to fill them quickly so she does not have to worry about them. Thanks again. |

DALLAS COWBOY GAMES (10/05) NO ASSIGNMENT REQUESTS!!!
If your name is on the list, you are scheduled to work and be at the game at report time NO MORE LATE COMERS, Once I have finished staffing all booths and I'm in the gate THATS IT!! We have too many people who have signed up for me to allow anyone from now on to show up late. It is extremely hard to cut the list down from over 120 people to just a mere 60 or so. So it's getting to the point where if you don't show up or are late then I'm moving on to the next eager person ready to work and show up!! If for some reason you cannot make it you need to contact me (BEFORE GAME DAY) DO NOT FIND YOUR OWN REPLACEMENT. I have a long list of subs/replacements so please leave it up to me!!! You can contact me either by email (cindyk70@gmail.com or call me at 817-680-7635. Don't forget Cowbells and bottle openers. Remember to always bring your ID and TABC License, you will be sent home if you do not have this. Also, please remember to wear correct uniform. Blue shirt (NO LOGO) khaki shorts/pants/capris and comfortable shoes, I will be bringing extra shirts. We meet in front of Gate 4 and parking is off of Texas Plaza or Carl Road and there is shuttle buses carting everyone back n forth. I have now heard you can NOT bring snacks or drinks (I brought it last time and they didnt say anything so it's up to you). Our discounted food booth is FD17 at 25% off. Please let me know if you need any further information. See you on Game Day!! Cindy (817) 680-7635 |
